While sitting in the kitchen, eating peaches-my favorite of course- and listening to my lounge music, a sense of calm breathed from within!
As human beings we may have lots of diffrences but for sure there are things that bring us closer, music, food, ethics and morals in some occasions.
One of the things that really bothers me is as Merry my friend says "Sometimes you just don't debate because a narrow mind with a loud voice and closed ears are just bad for health"
I couldnt find better words to describe what happens to me on regular bases, either at work or at home occasionally. we are missing the ethics of listening, I mean you can listen to music better than listening to people now.
For me things would have differed if people gave me a listen from time to time, though I express better in writing than to talking to people......
Will our world differ if we gave a listen to what our parents say, will it differ if we listened to our inner voice talking in a sense of reality and wisdom?
People defending their group or party just because they are a member of it, is totally unfair,admittng they can never commit a mistake! All parties may relate.
The point is we attach our minds with a world we have created, unfortunately, we -humans - are disastrous inventors when we create our own world.
Adolf Hitler, I can't believe it that, till this moment almost got 1/3 of the world acceptance with his ideology! what ideology were they talking about anyway! The sabra and shatila as well as Deir Yassin massacres! They were actually honoured in tal-aviv!!- and till now we-arab- can't even hear our sisters and brothers calling for help at Palestine!
Can you confront Israel for their cruel actions on humanity? Actually, the question is will THEY LISTEN TO YOUR CONFRONTATION? CAN YOU CHANGE THE WAY THEY ACT AND THINK.
It's like someone is telling you I love you, will you listen to them and love them back, or you'll just get to your ideology chooosing the person regardless of what s/he said?
So what actually happens is we attach ourselves to ideas either in ethics, political....ect and we sometimes can't withstand people opposing us! why? because it would prove you are wrong?why do you feel very offensive when someone argues you!
so many things I want to ask to those who don't listen, of course they can't listen, but I hope they'd have eyes to read this.
Let's not attach ourselves to ideas, and insist we are only RIGHTEOUS, let's not be offensive when we hear others opinion! life is simple don't make it complicated.
